The Role
We're looking for a Studio Manager to join our team as a part-time contractor. This is a project-based, hourly role built for someone who thrives in a flexible environment but takes their work seriously. You'll be the operational backbone of client engagements, the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks and everyone, client and creative alike, knows exactly where things stand.
You will work closely with our Lead Strategists, who own the creative direction and client relationships at a strategic level. Your job is to own the execution layer: the timelines, the workflows, the contractor coordination, the client communication on logistics and status, and the financial guardrails that keep projects profitable. A large portion of this role will be dedicated to Advisory Amplified, our six-city accounting industry tour running this fall. Keeping that program on track, on budget, and moving forward across multiple cities and workstreams simultaneously.
What You'll Be Doing
Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact for all project logistics, status updates, and next steps
Build and maintain project timelines, run internal kickoffs and check-ins, and keep work moving across multiple engagements
Manage multi-city event logistics including venue coordination, vendor communication, and deadline tracking across markets
Coordinate and manage our contractor collective: matching talent to projects, issuing agreements, and tracking capacity
Monitor budgets and scope, flag creep early, and manage change order conversations with clients directly and professionally
Translate client feedback into clear direction for the creative team and ensure all work is strategist-approved before it reaches the client
What We're Looking For
3-5 years of project management experience, ideally in an agency, creative services, marketing, or event production environment
A track record of managing multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously without dropping the ball
Strong written and verbal communication, you know how to be direct and warm at the same time
Comfortable having difficult conversations, whether that's telling a client a request is out of scope or telling a contractor a deadline is non-negotiable
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a genuine preference for clean systems over managed chaos
Familiarity with project management platforms required; experience with ClickUp is a plus
Ability to work independently in a remote, flexible, project-based structure
Understanding of how creative and strategy agencies operate is strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience managing event logistics and multi-vendor coordination a plus

This role starts at 10-20 hours per week, but we're looking for someone who sees that as a starting point, not a ceiling. As the business grows and client engagements scale, so does this role. The ideal candidate is someone who values flexibility now but is genuinely open to growing with us over time.
