Building a first-of-its-kind advisory tour for accountants.
HOW MANY CONFERENCES DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE AN ACCOUNTING FIRM?
That's what we found ourselves asking in late 2024 after years of working with accounting firms at every stage of advisory - some just starting, others trying to scale what they'd built. They'd leave conferences with ideas and inspiration, return to their desks, and still lack the practical framework to move forward.
We talked about bringing new energy to the events calendar.
We were noticing digital fatigue.
We imagined an in-person, highly curated experience for our industry friends.
We knew some of the best voices in the profession deserved a stage.
We were dreaming up what we called The Warped Tour for accountants.
So we decided to make it happen.
Six times over.
THE BRIEF
The Fearless Foundry team set out to build a multi-city US tour that would close the gap between advisory inspiration and real firm implementation. From scratch, we’d provide the concept, planning, production, marketing, and execution across six cities.
THE GOAL: to create a bold, new event experience for accounting professionals and ensure every person leaves with a tangible plan for their next steps in advisory.
“This was a unique, curated event that felt like it applied to all firm sizes. I liked the intimacy of it.”

CONCEPTING
SOMETHING DIFFERENT
We believe tech vendors have more to offer industry events. They’re sitting on data patterns across thousands of firms, with valuable insights to share. But conferences typically relegate them to sponsored slots designed for demos. We handpicked more than 40 active practitioners, thought leaders, and tech partners who care about where the industry is going and invited them to be a bigger part of the conversation. The smaller format replaced the usual sales-floor dynamic with real conversations between attendees and vendors.
COORDINATING AT SCALE
The tour moved through six cities over six weeks, with each stop requiring its own logistics while maintaining consistency in experience and quality. We managed venue contracts across different cities, coordinated speakers across time zones, and created custom run-of-show documents for each location. Merchandise needed to be shipped to multiple destinations, marketing campaigns had to be timed to local audiences, and partner communications required management across different stakeholder groups. From venue walkthroughs to day-of execution, every city demanded the same level of attention to detail. The timeline was aggressive, but the goal was clear: prove that this model could work at scale without losing the intimacy that made it valuable.
CELEBRATING THE CITY
We scouted beloved businesses and local favorites in each city. We chose spaces with characters that reflected where they were - Chicago didn't look like Austin, didn't look like Atlanta. We said a hard no to hotel ballrooms and conference centers. Each venue was chosen to be an integral piece of the experience, not simply a backdrop.

THE FULL SERVICE RUN DOWN
Dreaming up an event of any kind and need a team?
Here’s the full list of what we did to bring Advisory Amplified to life.
DESIGNING FOR CHANGE
Every choice we made shaped who showed up and how they engaged. We priced tickets at $99 to make it accessible to owners and their teams. We selected minority-owned vendors and local businesses in each city to champion the communities hosting us. We curated a speaker lineup that ensured a diverse range of voices took the mic. We capped attendance under 75 per city to maintain the intimacy that enables honest conversation. In response, we saw rooms consistently split 50-50 between women and men across all six cities, attendees representing various identities and firm sizes, and an atmosphere where people felt comfortable sharing the real challenges they were facing.
